MEET THE FOUNDER

Here for the mess, the magic, and the snacks in between.

Paige, perinatal nutrition consultant and founder of Tender Daze

I came to this the long way around. Film. Marketing. A season as a celebrity PA that taught me everything about chaos, logistics, and saying yes before you know how.

My 20s were full and fast and fun — and wildly stressful in the way that looks fine from the outside. When I lost my footing in film, I changed direction before I gave myself a chance to get back up. Fear dressed up as a fresh start. Possibly also one of the best decisions I ever made. Who knows.

My intuition was trying to get my attention the whole time. Food eventually made me slow down enough to hear it.

And I'm still finding my way.

*Full disclosure: I deeply love and believe in sourdough and natural wine. The wellness paradox is alive and well in my kitchen. Ha ha.

NEW YORK

Food found me quietly, then took over completely.

One Lucky Duck first. Then LuliTonix — growing something small into something national, learning what it means to build a brand that actually nourishes people. Then Citrine Kitchen, which became the truest expression of what I believe: that food is medicine and joy and community all at once.

Along the way — Matchaful, Village Coffee & Goods, Goddess Brunch. Spaces where women gathered, ate well, and where nutrient-dense food and lifelong friendships somehow happened at the same table, at the same time.

That thread has never left me. It just kept evolving.

THE CALLING

Cacao at 7am.
Sourdough at noon.
Both are medicine.

Every morning starts the same way — something warm, something grounding. Cacao, matcha, herbs, whatever the season is asking for. A small ritual that has quietly held me together for years.

It's also a daily reminder that the line between medicine and joy is thinner than we're taught.

The adaptogen latte and the sourdough (fermented, after all). The supplement stack and the glass of natural wine. The green smoothie and the cheese board. The birthday cake eaten standing over the sink at midnight — because sometimes that's exactly what the moment calls for.

None of it is a contradiction. All of it is nourishment — in its fullest, most honest, most delicious form.

This isn't wellness without pleasure. It's a full integration of it. Because real nourishment isn't just what you put in your body — it's what feeds your soul, your joy, your sense of being fully alive in your own life.

There's room for all of it here. That's not a compromise. That's the whole point.

That's what I teach. That's what I live.

THE RUPTURE

Motherhood during a pandemic.
A whole thing.

Having a baby during the pandemic was a rupture and a rebirth. Postpartum cracked me open, reshaped my identity, and pushed me to understand nourishment not just as wellness, but as survival and healing.

That experience sent me back to school — for yet another pivot. I completed my Masters II in Fertility, Pregnancy, Postpartum & Baby Nutrition at Oh Baby School of Nutrition, building on earlier training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Motherhood pushed me further into the support women actually deserve during this transition. Not the glossy version. The real one, with snacks and honesty and someone who won't tell you to just sleep when the baby sleeps.

COMING HOME

Sixteen years in New York.
Then we came home.

Motherhood changes the gravitational pull of everything. We came home to Australia after 16 years — drawn back by family, by roots, by that particular ache parenthood awakens for the people who knew you first.

What I left behind was a soul family. Built slowly, over shared tables and late nights and all the ordinary moments that turn strangers into people who hold you. Leaving broke something open. Grief and gratitude, wound so tightly together I still can't separate them.

It taught me everything about why women need each other — and how rarely anyone says so out loud.

Tender Daze is my attempt to say it.

THE VISION

Tender Daze is a chaos bubble.
Beautiful and wild.

When I imagined what this could be, I didn't picture a clean, minimalist wellness brand. I pictured something messier and more alive than that.

A place where the nutrition is real and the community is realer. Where the recipes are nourishing and the conversations are honest. Where you can be falling apart and coming together at exactly the same time and nobody asks you to pick one.

The kitchen as meditation. Food as comfort and catalyst. Women holding each other through every season of becoming.

That's Tender Daze. Chaotic, beautiful, and completely on purpose.

Snacks included.

So glad you found me.

Whether you're here for the perinatal nutrition, the recipes, the community, or you just clicked something and ended up on this page — you're in the right place. Pull up a chair. I'll put the kettle on.
